naskh with elements of ruqʿah in black, pointed, with Samaritan Aramaic and tables rubricated in red. Undated; Columbia suggests the later eighteenth or nineteenth century.
Ends abruptly. Catalogued as Kitāb al-taʾrīkh mimmā taqaddama ʿan al-ābāʾ of Abū al-Fatḥ ibn Abī al-Ḥasan al-Sāmirī, but the title is supplied by the cataloguer and the manuscript carries none;
the opening leaves give a compiler’s preface upon the copies he gathered, then Joshua’s investiture as successor to the Apostle, so the text may rather be the Samaritan Book of Joshua.
